School holidays can be so long and boring for the kids, and hard work for the adults! So Christchurch City Council have found the answer! In the July school holidays, they run KidsFest with lots of cool events and activities to keep the kids entertained. They wanted some branded merchandise for one of their night-time events, and Bright Sparks suggested the idea of LED balloons. Cost-effective, creative and cool merchandise. These were a huge hit with children and adults alike, and you could see red, green, yellow, pink and white lit-up balloons floating around the park alongside the lanterns.
Middleton Grange School came to Bright Sparks wanting some branded merchandise that their staff could use for gifts when travelling overseas, or when they had visitors to the school. As they were after a female-targeted gift, we liked the idea of a chiffon scarf. It was nice and light, which was perfect for fitting into a suitcase when travelling. With the koru design woven into the material, and their logo subtlety placed in one corner, this chiffon scarf fitted their brief perfectly. It had a kiwiana feel, represented Middleton Grange, and was a memorable gift that the receiver would really treasure.
Now we know girls can be fussy, you should see the girls in the Bright Sparks office - But at the end of the day, women know what they want! Columba College found that a lot of their girls were wearing tights instead of shorts to training, so they wanted to introduce sport tights into their uniform. There was only one problem – they couldn’t find navy ones anywhere, let alone in a style that all the girls liked. So Bright Sparks found a style that the girls all liked, sent them over to our China office and replicated these 100% in Navy with Columba branding down the leg. Problem solved!
